Mark Maisonneuve
Mark Maisonneuve is a long-time San Diego production professional with over 40 years of award-winning work in the corporate, commercial and live event arenas. His passion for telling great stories is evident in his work, be it interviewing the C-suite of Fortune 500 companies in Europe, shooting logging operations for the US Forest Service, chasing down shots of an outrigger canoe race in Singapore, or directing training videos for peace officers in the state of California. No matter the project, it’s the story that matters. His other passions include doting on his wife and their three kids (and now two grandsons!) hiking the backcountry of San Diego and Yosemite, and rooting for his beloved Purdue Boilermakers. -
Neha Pearce
Neha Pearce is a multimedia producer and visual storyteller who loves translating research into stories that feel human, curious, and alive. She’s created educational content across science, tech, and the arts—including global training videos for Fortune 500 company KLA, environmental documentaries at UCSB, and social media storytelling for research initiatives at SDSU. She holds an MFA in Film and Media, and her background in journalism, sound design, and stop motion animation shapes her approach to communication that’s thoughtful, well-crafted, and emotionally resonant. She’s always excited to collaborate on projects that help people understand more about the world—and the people studying it. -
Owen Stanley
Owen Stanley is an Educational Video Producer with two decades of experience in film, television, and digital media. His professional background includes Emmy-nominated work as a Cinematographer-Editor on the PBS series Joseph Rosendo’s Travelscope, as well as contributions to projects for Netflix, Amazon Prime, and NBC. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television, he has developed original concepts for television and branded media, and directed an award-winning independent feature film. His background in travel cinematography, screenwriting, and post-production—alongside experience working with production teams in Los Angeles and London—continues to inform his approach to educational, promotional, and documentary content within the university setting. -
Patrick Espinosa
Patrick Espinosa has over 35 years of experience in all facets of media production, from broadcast television and radio, to commercial, corporate and event production. Whether it’s operating cameras, lighting, sound or teleprompter equipment on location and studio shoots, to editing, post-production and sound design on a computer workstation, he knows how to use each of these tools together to craft a story that’s engaging to viewers. -
Rachael Ponn
Rachael Ponn has often been referred to as the swiss-army knife of her team. With deep creative and ad agency experience, she's spent years learning all sides of production. She's spent years honing her skills as a videographer, FAA certified drone pilot, editor and colorist. She has a rare-eye for emotion and narrative, which is rooted in her Masters Degree from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism. On her free time you'll most likely find her outside backpacking with her two dogs, rock climbing, skiing, or just enjoying a good old fashion San Diego beach day. -
Seth Marshburn
With over 20 years of experience in picture capture, animation, design, art direction, and post-production, Seth Marshburn has had the chance to work on a wide range of fun things! He’s collaborated with brands like Fisher Price and Best Buy, with work featured in outlets like TransWorld Surf and Career Focus Magazine. For the past decade, he’s been focused on reimagining educational media -- including UCSD’s first major leap into online learning. From documentary storytelling to polished digital content, he specializes in high-precision work with personality, based on a deep understanding of what each audience needs. -
Troy Hauschild
Troy Hauschild is a producer with experience in Documentary TV, Reality TV, Sports and Education. Before his time at UC San Diego, he worked in Los Angeles for 15 years, creating content for Film and Television for networks including Showtime, AMC, Fox Sports, and more.. Troy holds a BA in Theatre from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He's proud to bring his experience to the team at Multimedia Services, and create content that educates and captivates its audience.

Galen Davis
Galen Davis is a Senior Educational Technology Specialist on the Multimedia Services team at the University of California San Diego. He oversees UCSD’s Kaltura service, managing its configuration, documentation, and support. He also researches and shares best practices for the effective use of educational multimedia. Before joining UCSD, Galen spent eight years in academic technology at Stanford University and six years in the for-profit online education sector. He lives in San Diego with his wife, a fertility physician, and their three daughters. In his free time, Galen enjoys e-biking, video games, and tinkering with his 3D printer. -
Robin Martin
Robin Martin is Director of Media Services at UC San Diego with decades of experience as an educational technologist and filmmaker who is passionate about visual storytelling and using technology in the service of art, education and creativity. He has experience working on everything from online courses, commercials, web/social media promos, corporate messaging and training content, to short films and documentaries. Robin loves learning new things, collaborating with creative teams and producing content that moves people to think, learn and feel. -
Treb Padula
Treb Padula is a Senior Educational Technology Specialist at UC San Diego with over 20 years of experience in higher education. He began his career at CSU Stanislaus before joining UC San Diego in 2015, where he leads campus-wide instructional technology initiatives. Treb manages Studio U, the university’s self-service recording studio that enables faculty and staff to create high-quality video content independently. His work has earned both Larry L. Sautter Gold and Silver Awards for innovation in information technology.
